This policy covers this website and every game by Twin Cape Games: Cozy Kittens, Cupid on Ice, Skewer Shack, Firefly Cottage.
The short version
Our games have no accounts and no purchases. They never ask for your real name, email, contacts, photos or location. They never show an ad unless you ask for one. Each game sends two things to our server: your puzzle results, and the nickname and picture you choose for the leaderboard.
Who we are
Twin Cape Games is a trading name of EGGHEAD LABS, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. EGGHEAD LABS is responsible for the information described here.
What stays on your device
Your progress, your collection and your settings (sound, music, vibration, reminders) are saved only on your own device. Deleting the app deletes them.
Puzzle results
When you finish a puzzle for the first time, the game sends three things to our server: which puzzle it was, how long it took, and how many hints you used. They are sent with a random number that the game makes up on your device. That number is not linked to your name, your phone, your accounts or anything else about you.
We use these results only to show things like "faster than 70% of players", today's fastest times and the leaderboards. We do not sell or share them, and we cannot tell which person any result belongs to.
Your nickname and picture
The game suggests a made-up nickname and lets you type your own. The nickname, the picture and the frame you choose are sent to our server with the same random number, so other players can see them next to your place on the leaderboard. Please do not use your real name. Nicknames pass through an automatic filter that refuses rude words.
You can report another player's nickname. A report stores the reported name with your random number, so the same player cannot report a name twice.
Videos for hints
When you run out of hints you can choose to watch a short video ad to get one. This is the only advertising in our games. It never appears unless you tap the button.
The videos are provided through Google AdMob, with AppLovin and InMobi as advertising partners. When a video is requested, these companies receive information from your device such as its advertising identifier, your approximate location worked out from your internet address, and how you interacted with the ad. They use it under their own policies: Google, AppLovin and InMobi.
Only ads rated for general audiences are requested. Where the law requires it, you are asked first whether ads may be personalised. You can reset your advertising identifier or turn off ad personalisation in your device's settings.
Notifications
If you turn on a reminder, your device shows one notification a day. It is scheduled on your device and no information leaves it. You can turn it off in the game's settings or in your device's settings.
Purchases and accounts
Our games have no in-app purchases and no accounts, so we hold no payment details, email addresses or passwords.
Where the information is kept
Puzzle results, nicknames and reports are kept on servers run for us by Cloudflare and are sent over an encrypted connection. We keep them while the leaderboards are running, or until you ask us to delete yours.
Removing your information
Open your profile in the game and find the line that starts "Player code" at the bottom. Email that code to [email protected] and we will delete your results, nickname and picture.
Children
Our games are suitable for all ages and do not ask anyone, including children, for personal information. The nickname is the only thing a player types, and the game asks players not to use a real name.
This website
This website has no accounts, no forms, no advertising and no tracking scripts, and it sets no cookies of its own. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles your internet address and basic request details in order to deliver the pages and keep the site safe.

Everything above applies to Cozy Kittens. Cozy Kittens has a bedtime mode and a bedtime reminder. Both are settings kept on your device. The reminder is one notification each evening, only if you turn it on.
Cupid on Ice
Everything above applies to Cupid on Ice. Cupid on Ice can show one daily reminder, only if you turn it on.
Skewer Shack
Everything above applies to Skewer Shack. Skewer Shack can show one daily reminder, only if you turn it on.
Firefly Cottage
Everything above applies to Firefly Cottage. Firefly Cottage can show one daily reminder, only if you turn it on.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
